11:00 am: Registration opens. Interactive Music by Voices of the Village!
1:00 pm: The Friendship Walk begins. Enjoy 1 mile walk through downtown Arlington and on the Centennial Trail.
The Friendship Awards: Biggest Walk Team, Most Money Raised by Team and by an Individual, Team Spirit Award.
Individual Walkers and Teams Welcome! Walking not for you? Please volunteer or help cheer at the finish line! Sponsors and donations are also accepted with great appreciation!
Show Your Community Pride by wearing your company or organization's emblem, creating team signs, dressing up, etc.
Suggested Donation or Sponsorship Donation: $25 per walker (Please accept our thanks and have a Friendship Walk t-shirt in thanks for donations of $25 or more.) Please walk, donate, and/or collect sponsorships for your walk or a walker.
By submitting your registration you are accepting the following terms:
In consideration of being permitted to participate in Village Community Services Friendship Walk, I hereby, for myself, my heirs, and personal representatives assume any and all risks which might be associated with the event. I further waive, release, discharge and indemnify Village Community Services, the City of Arlington, volunteers, sponsors and others associated with this event, from any and all claims for injuries or damages of any kind arising from participating in the Friendship Walk. I permit Village Community Services my name and picture in any photo, film, videotape, brochure, newspaper, report or promotion of this event, future events, and Village Community Services.
